Educational Qualification:

The applicants those who want to apply for SSC CGL Vacancy 2017 must possess Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Age Limit/Relaxation:

The candidates age minimum age should be 18 years and maximum of 27 years for CGL Exam 2017. The age relaxation for category wise is also mentioned below.

Application fee for Combined graduate level Examination 2017

Candidates are required to pay SSC CGL application fee i.e INR 100 either in online or offline mode. Check underneath how to transmit application expense

Online mode: Candidates can transmit application fee in the online mode by means of Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking by tapping “online” option and make the payment.

Offline Mode: Candidates can also pay the application fee in offline mode. They have to choose the offline option and continue to produce bank challan to transmit application fee.

How to Apply for SSC CGL Vacancies 2017:

  • Navigate to the SSC Form 2017.
  • Then, Click on ” Apply Online “

www.ssc.nic.in Recruitment 2017 Selection process:

The SSC CGL Selection system contains the four stages. All the intrigued hopefuls must need to qualify every single stage of the selection procedure to get jobs in 2017-2018. As, Online exam will be held for two phases i.e TIER 1 AND TIER 2 and followed by Descriptive test and Computer Proficiency test (CPT) and Skill test. CGL Examination will be directed in four stages as given below.

Tier – I: Written Examination (online mode)
Tier – II: Written Examination (online mode)
Tier – III: Descriptive Test (Pen and Paper Mode)
Tier – IV: Data Entry Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test(wherever material)/Document Verification

SSC CGL 2017  Exam Scheme & Exam Pattern:

SSC CGL Tier I Exam Pattern

The CGL examination will be consists of Multiple choice questions and it will be conducted in online mode.There will be altogether 100 questions for 200 marks & the duration of the exam will be 75 minutes.There will be a negative marking of 0.50 prints for each wrong response.The question paper will be split up into 4 sections like General intelligence & reasoning, General Awareness/GK, Quantitative aptitude & English comprehension.

SSC CGL Tier II Exam Pattern

The examination will be consists of Multiple choice questions and it will be conducted in online mode. There will be total 200 marks & the duration of the exam will be 2 hours. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong response in paper II.The Question paper will be split up into 4 sections like Quantitative ability (Paper I), English language & Comprehension (Paper II), Statistics (Paper III) & General studies (Paper IV Finance & Economics).

The paper I & II will be compulsory for all the posts & paper II is only for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr. II and Compiler and Paper IV will only be for the post of Assistant Audit Officer.

SSC CGL Tier III Exam Pattern

The examination consists of descriptive type and it will be conducted only through offline mode. The test will be of total 100 marks & the duration will be around 60 minutes. The duration of the examination will be 80 minutes for VH & Cerebral Palsy applicants.The applicants have to write essay/précis/letter/application etc.

SSC CGL Admit Card 2017:

SSC CGL Results 2017:

CGL exam result will be announced by SSC after one month from the exam on the web portal of SSC. The result will publish online in PDF format having a list of qualified candidates in the list.
